TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, click here and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
